Scheduled PEHP Campus Visits

PEHP representative, Justin Seal, visits the UT campus monthly to answer any questions regarding your medical and/or vision benefits. No appointment is necessary; dates are available and listed within the monthly HR newsletters emailed to employees and linked at the top of this page.

Justin is also available by email at justin.seal@pehp.org or by phone at 801-493-5441 Monday – Friday from 8 am – 5 pm.

Justin will visit with employees on a first-come, first-serve basis in the HR Conference Room BNO 142.

New Online/Phone On-Demand Doctor Visits

We also wanted to highlight a recent enhancement of the University’s medical plan. PEHP has partnered with Amwell to provide live, on-demand doctor visits online or by phone (telemedicine) under our medical plan. Copays are only $10 (less than a primary care visit copay) and available 24/7. To learn more about this resource and the commonly treated conditions under this benefit, go online to https://amwell.com or download the app and sign up for the service. As part of the signup, you will need to enter your PEHP ID (found on your insurance card) and enter “PEHP” as the service key so you get the $10 co-pay.

myWellness Tracker with PEHP

The University has partnered with PEHP to offer full-time UT faculty & staff (and their spouses) a new wellness benefit called myWellness Tracker.

A new fiscal year starting also means a new plan year for you to participate in PEHP’s myWellness Tracker.

New challenges and new point levels are reset each July, so be sure to set up some wellness goals for you to accomplish each fiscal year and earn yourself a rebate of up to $150 gross for participation in various wellness activities of your choosing throughout the fiscal year.

There is information about this program within NEOED Onboard, under the “Wellness Portal”, as well as online at https://www.pehp.org/mywellnesstracker. Sign up today!

We hope you (and your spouse) will take advantage of this new program. Please email mywellnessjul@pehp.org if you have any problems registering.

PEHP Benefit Update & Events

IRS Increases HSA Limits – 2024
Earlier this year the IRS increased the 2024 calendar year HSA limit:

– Single coverage by $300 to $4,150

– Double/Family by $550 to $8,300

If you would like to make changes to your personal contributions to your HSA account please log into your www.pehp.org account, click on the “My Benefits” tab at the top of the page, and then click on “change HSA contributions”.  Note that any changes must be made within the PEHP online portal, not through the Health Equity portal.

Important Update from PEHP re: Pharmacy Benefit w/Kroger/Smith’s in 2023
Kroger/Smith’s elected to end their contract with Express Scripts effective January 1, 2023. This means that PEHP members who currently fill their prescriptions at Kroger/Smith’s will need to find another in-network pharmacy to keep their drug costs down. Please note that Express Scripts will be notifying everyone who uses Kroger/Smith’s for their medications about the change of coverage. Most pharmacies in Utah are still covered, to see in-network pharmacies, or go to: express-scripts.com/findapharmacy.
