Staff Association
The Staff Association represents the staff to the administration of Utah Tech University and promotes open communication and collaboration between the Staff Association, Faculty Senate, and all members of the University community. The Staff Association strives to improve the working conditions, benefits, salaries, and professional status of its members. The association strives for excellence through service to the University community and is committed to assisting Utah Tech in implementing and achieving its mission and goals. The Staff Association also encourages professional development and training opportunities for staff.
General Staff Meetings
All staff members are invited to attend staff association board meetings. The board meets every 3rd Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. To confirm specific meeting times and locations, contact the staff association secretary.
Faculty Senate
The purpose of the Faculty Senate is to serve Utah Tech University and further the fulfillment of its mission by providing an authoritative voice for faculty; working to improve the general welfare of faculty; fostering professionalism among the faculty; supporting the Academic Freedom rights of faculty, students, and the institution itself; promoting communication among the faculty, administrators, staff, students, and community members; and encouraging good fellowship among the faculty.
